I love the phone so far. However it seems a little slow to use sometimes. Some apps take longer to open. Do you know what could be going on?

Regarding your experience - we have identified a software issue that causes multiple symptoms - some slowness, face unlock not working and unusual battery drain. Please note that not everywhere will experience this issue.
We have a fix for it but the health scare around corona virus is making it difficult to work with Mediatek for releasing an update. We are expecting to have a SW update within 2-3 weeks.
